About Hartklop Inn

Hartklop Inn runs three self-catering properties in two very different parts of South Africa: Mossel Cove and 39 Lang Street on the coast in Mossel Bay, and our guest house in Kimberley in the Northern Cape.

How Hartklop Began

Nestled along the scenic coastline of Mossel Bay, South Africa, Hartklop Guesthouse stands as a testament to dreams realised. The story of Hartklop began over a decade ago when its owner first set foot in Mossel Bay. Year after year, family vacations became more than just a cherished tradition—they became a connection to a place that felt like home.

For ten years, with every visit, the vision of creating a haven to share the magic of this town with others grew stronger.

In 2024, that dream came to life. Hartklop Guesthouse, reflects the deep love and rhythm of the town. Every detail of the guesthouse has been thoughtfully crafted to display the warmth, comfort, and serenity that make Mossel Bay so special. From its welcoming ambiance to its picturesque views, Hartklop invites visitors to create their own memories in a place built from passion and a decade of inspiration.

Here, every guest is more than a visitor; they become part of a story that started with family, grew through dreams, and continues to thrive with each heartbeat of Mossel Bay’s coastal charm.
